Rambling I

Homosapiens are fortunate to feel, to be compassionate, to relate to human suffering which includes every nation that suffered before and immediately after 9/11 attacks... Afghanistan, Iraq and now Lebanon.. not to forget the almost 6 decade conflict in Palestine as well and all the grave conflicts and alarming death tolls in Africa be it the Aids epidemic or civil wars or genocides. I suppose when you have crossed paths with individuals or have friends from all those countries who lost a father, mother or brother or friend or not having a choice but to leave their beloved mother land, we learn to soften our edges and get a grip of reality instead of being so incredibly and selfishly absorbed in our own little congested bubble.

Obviously, I can't just gear up, jump in and be in a combat either. If anything, I never believed in wars or violence or bloodshed. Nothing is more powerful than using the mind, heart and peaceful approaches to bring people to their grounds, to their senses. Violence only breeds more violence. Now, for that reason amongst many, I can reach out to all those who have a mind of their own to participate in campaigns, to write and make noise in a constructive manner by composing messages and displaying our humane side around the world to stop the injustice. Eventually, our destiny is when we will ultimately find justice but God also gifted us with a mind and heart to use it more compassionately and wisely instead of causing so much destruction.
